After successfully turning around in Q2 this year, Panorama (PANR) recorded positive growth again, posting a Rp 10.4 billion profit in Q3, an increase of 218% compared to Q2 this year. Year-on-year, the Q3 2022 net loss decreased by 92% compared to the same period in 2021. The company also reported a 347% increase in revenue in Q3 2022, reaching Rp 846.7 billion, compared to Q3 2021.
As the tourism sector continues to recover and mobility has resumed, both domestic and international travel demand have seen significant growth. In Q3 this year, Panorama managed over 69,000 Indonesian travelers for both domestic and international trips. In terms of international tourists, the company handled over 10,000 foreign visitors. In addition to the retail segment, there was a noticeable increase in demand in the corporate incentive segment. Corporate incentive trips are specifically designed for companies looking to reward employees and boost team performance through travel.
During the pandemic, many companies implemented work-from-home policies. Now that companies are returning to on-site work, there is a growing need to enhance teamwork and engagement among employees. Corporate incentive trips serve as an ideal way to foster teamwork and employee engagement.
"In Q4, we have started handling corporate incentive trips for various corporations across Indonesia. Previously, in Q2 and Q3, recovery took place in the Inbound sector following the implementation of Visa on Arrival and the lifting of quarantine regulations for international tourists. Meanwhile, the Travel & Leisure (Outbound) segment continues to grow with the opening of more countries and additional flight frequencies," said AB Sadewa, Corporate Secretary of PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk.
Panorama has already started receiving holiday package bookings for the Christmas and New Year periods, offering a variety of both domestic and international destinations. Some of the popular domestic destinations, aside from Bali and Yogyakarta, include Labuan Bajo, Belitung, and cities easily accessible by road. Popular international destinations include Turkey, South Korea, Western Europe, and the United States.
With the situation continuing to improve, the company is optimistic that 2022 will surpass 2021, and the continued implementation of smart operations will enhance productivity and profitability, paving the way for normalization in the coming year.
