Panorama Strengthens Support and Market Access for Tourism Villages

Jakarta, October 13 2025 - As a manifestation of its commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable tourism, Panorama has partnered with Caventer, a non-profit organization focusing on cultural development, the arts, and local community empowerment. This collaboration aims to introduce community-based tourism destinations to Panorama’s clients and customers while expanding mentoring programs and market access for tourism villages assisted by Caventer.

Since 2016, Panorama has actively supported the development of tourism villages in Lombok, Yogyakarta, and Bogor City as part of its CSR initiatives aligned with the company’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles. Meanwhile, Caventer currently mentors 36 tourism villages across various regions and destinations in Indonesia.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Panorama and Caventer took place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in conjunction with the Wonderful Indonesia Tourism Fair (WITF) in Jakarta. Through this MoU, Panorama plays a role in supporting the promotion, market access, and further guidance of the tourism villages assisted by Caventer. The promotional and market access efforts will focus on the inbound/foreign tourist segment, the corporate market, and international student trips interested in community-based tourism.

“We see tourism villages not merely as alternative destinations, but as a tangible form of sustainable tourism that brings direct benefits to local communities. Through this collaboration, Panorama seeks to deliver new experiences for travelers while fostering economic growth among local players,” said AB Sadewa, Corporate Secretary of PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk.

Caventer also expressed its readiness to jointly mentor village communities to advance their development into destinations better prepared to welcome Panorama’s market segments.

Through this initiative, Panorama reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the development of Indonesia’s tourism industry—one that is not only business-oriented but also focused on social, cultural, and environmental sustainability.
