PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk Records 16% Revenue Growth Amid Global Geopolitical Challenges

Jakarta, August 4th 2026 - PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk (IDX: PANR), an integrated tourism company, recorded revenue of IDR 2.0 trillion in the first half of 2026, representing a 16% increase compared to IDR 1.8 trillion in the same period last year. This achievement demonstrates the resilience of the Company’s business model amid ongoing pressures facing the global tourism industry.

Throughout the first half of 2026, the global tourism industry faced significant challenges driven by escalating geopolitical tensions, particularly the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, which intensified from late February 2026. The situation affected consumer confidence in international travel and influenced travel demand patterns during key holiday periods, including the Eid holiday season in March and the beginning of the school holiday period in June–July.

In addition to affecting travel demand, the geopolitical conflict also contributed to rising energy prices, including aviation fuel costs, which increased operating expenses for airlines across various markets. These conditions placed additional pressure on the global travel and tourism industry, both in terms of costs and consumers’ willingness to travel.

Despite these challenges, Panorama successfully maintained its growth momentum through its diversified business portfolio. The Corporate Travel segment, which serves business and corporate travel needs, became the Company’s primary growth driver during the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, the Leisure segment, across both the Outbound and Inbound pillars, faced challenges due to weaker travel demand in several markets, resulting in more moderate growth compared to previous periods.

"The first half of this year was a challenging period for the global tourism industry. However, Panorama’s balanced business model, which combines both leisure and corporate travel segments, enabled us to continue delivering revenue growth. We have seen corporate business travel demand remain resilient, providing support to our performance amid softer leisure travel demand," said AB Sadewa, Corporate Secretary of Panorama.

Throughout the first half of 2026, Panorama also remained proactive in executing various marketing initiatives to sustain market demand. The Company organized a series of travel fairs in collaboration with airlines and industry associations to drive travel package sales. Internationally, Panorama continued to strengthen its business network through participation in major business-to-business (B2B) events, including ITB Berlin in Germany, IMEX Frankfurt in Germany, and the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF) in Bali, as part of its efforts to expand the inbound market and reinforce global partnerships.

Entering the second half of 2026, the Company believes that tourism industry prospects will gradually improve as geopolitical uncertainties ease and consumer confidence in travel begins to recover. Panorama remains optimistic that leisure travel demand will strengthen, supported by the introduction of new international destinations offering more diverse and unique travel experiences.

On the operational front, the Company continues to enhance service quality through various human capital development initiatives, including the Tour Leader Academy, a program designed to strengthen the capabilities of tour leaders in delivering safe, comfortable, and internationally recognized travel experiences for customers.

"Our focus in the second half is to capture the recovery momentum of the leisure market. In addition to offering more attractive destination options, we continue to invest in service quality to ensure customer experience remains our top priority. We believe Panorama’s strong business fundamentals will support sustainable growth through the end of the year," Sadewa concluded.

With diversified business fundamentals, an extensive international network, and a strong commitment to service excellence, Panorama remains confident in its ability to sustain business growth and create long-term value for shareholders amid the evolving dynamics of the global tourism industry.
