Q1 Performance Shows Positive Growth, Panorama Estimates Revenue to Grow 350%

Entering 2023, the tourism sector continues to show positive growth, driven by pent-up demand or high demand from both domestic and international markets. Panorama (PANR) reported an increase in the number of international tourists from the Inbound division in Q1 2023, surpassing the performance of Q1 2019, or pre-pandemic levels.

In Q1 2023, Panorama served 22,000 international tourists from various regions worldwide, including Western Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, the United States, Canada, South Africa, and Southeast Asian countries.

Meanwhile, from the Travel & Leisure and Outbound divisions, Panorama handled almost 85,000 domestic tourists in Q1 2023. The public's enthusiasm for the Lebaran holiday was very high, with popular domestic destinations besides Bali, including Lombok, Labuan Bajo, Medan-Lake Toba, Yogyakarta, Bromo, and other new destinations in Indonesia.

For international destinations during the Lebaran holiday, popular choices included Japan, South Korea, the United States, Australia-New Zealand, and Moslem Tour products, which are highly favored by Panorama's customers.

Based on current performance, Panorama estimates that Q1 2023 revenue will grow by 350% compared to Q1 2022. The company plans to release its Q1 financial report at the end of April.

“Panorama's positive performance is a result of the hard work of all our teams and the continued strong pent-up demand that will last for some time. We believe this strength will continue, especially considering the still-limited availability of airplane seats post-pandemic. We also thank the public and our customers for trusting us with their holidays. Happy Lebaran holidays with your family,” concluded AB Sadewa, Corporate Secretary of PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk.
